Apple iPad: The Company Plans To Drop The Idea To Launch a Budget iPad with plastic body, Reports

Apple iPad:  Apple released the new iPad Pro models and the iPad for 2022 earlier this month. The new tablets are faster and can be used in new ways. This is particularly true for the iPad 10th Gen, which now works with more accessories. Apple, on the other hand, was rumored to have planned to make another iPad that was less expensive.

You Can Use a Detachable Keyboard

According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple was supposed to first release an iPad with a plastic back and a lower price point. It was said that this iPad would cost less than $500 and still have features like being able to use a detachable keyboard.

There isn’t much more information about the cheap iPad right now, but it’s safe to assume that it would have been powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chip, which is also used in the new iPad from 2022. This would have meant that the tablet could have been as fast as a flagship model and could have worked with 5G.

Even though it makes sense that Apple would cancel this device and promote its other iPads as better options (and there are a lot of them), the unannounced budget tablet would have been a strong competitor in India, where the budget tablet market is growing.

Apple iPad Price In India

If the cheap tablet could have been sold in India for between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000, it could have competed in a market where Xiaomi and Realme have released many tablets in the past year.

At the moment, devices like the Realme Pad X have 5G, support for styluses, a foldable keyboard accessory, and a user interface that is made for large-screen use. Even though these devices are much cheaper, the A-seres Bionic chip in the canceled affordable iPad could have made it run faster and better.

Even though the plan for a cheap iPad with a plastic back seems to have been scrapped, for now, Apple could still release that tablet in the future with updated internals if it thinks there’s a market for it, at least in some places if not everywhere.
