Apple decided to reveal the new entry-level iPad and the M2 iPad Pro through a press release earlier this week, eschewing glitzy launch events. Although the iPad (10th generation), which does not appear to be inexpensive anymore, was met with mixed reviews, the new iPad Pro grabbed the attention of fans due to the latest Apple silicon. Even though the iPad Pro is the first iPad to include the M2 processor, Apple is likely to use the chip and its versions in other devices, such as a new MacBook Pro that might be released as early as next month.
These devices are anticipated to use Apple’s M2 chipset
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that Apple plans to offer two new MacBook Pros this year, a 14-inch model and a 16-inch variant. According to the source, the future MacBook models may contain M2 Pro and M2 Max variants of the new M2 chip. In addition to M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets, the most recent MacBook Pro models also use M1 Pro chipsets. Therefore, it makes perfect sense for Apple to use the same terminology as M2. Apple may also produce a Mac Mini with the M2 chipset and options for higher-performance configurations. If all goes as planned, Apple will unveil these gadgets in November 2022, that is next month.

Could be released in next month
Apple launched the MacBook Pro models in October last year; but, the company retained the month for the introduction of the new iPads this year. Apple has, over the years, favored November over October for the introduction of new MacBook models. In 2020, Apple will release MacBook Pro, Macbook Air, and Mac Mini models equipped with its M1 technology. A year prior, Apple also introduced the MacBook Pro in November. It is important to remember that there are already a few M2-powered Macs on the market. These models, including the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro, were released in June 2022.
