Apple: The September event unveiled iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 platforms now have a small upgrade available on iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 from Apple. Apple iOS 17.1.2 details
Apple has found flaws in the way online content is processed that could expose private data. It is highly recommended that users update to iOS 17.1.2 as soon as possible in order to take advantage of security improvements. A memory corruption vulnerability and an out-of-bounds read are two particular issues. Apple has addressed issues by strengthening its locking mechanisms and input validation.
How to download and install?
- Connect your iPhone to a WiFi network.
- Navigate to Settings > General > Update Software.
- Select Install and Download.
- After the update, your iPhone will restart if you enter your passcode when prompted.
iOS 17.2 to be released soon
The new Journal app will be one of the many new features that iPhone users can look forward to with Apple’s upcoming iOS 17.2 update.
