CES 2024: Top 5 launches so far
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Super series GPU
Designed to enhance gaming and generative AI performance, Nvidia unveiled the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER chip. While playing graphically demanding games, the chipset will operate 1.4 times faster. It will also generate films with Stable Video Diffusion 1.5 times faster than prior generations. Available from January 31st, the new chipset is priced at $999.
LG’s invisible TV
A 77-inch 4K wireless transparent TV from LG was announced at CES 2024 with the name LG SIGNATURE OLED T. LG’s wireless technology for both video and audio transmission is combined with a transparent 4K OLED screen in this TV.
Five CES 2024 Innovation Awards, including the Best of Innovation title, went to the OLED T. As per LG’s statement, the TV relieves viewers of a glaring blank screen that clashes with their interior design.
Asus ROG Phone 8 series
At Tuesday’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Asus made the announcement of its gaming-focused ROG Phone 8 series. The producer of smartphones in Taiwan
Numerous AI-related capabilities that are included with smartphones are also expected to improve the gaming experience. With the new AI Grabber feature, users of the ROG Phone 8 series will be able to capture text from games directly. In the meantime, Asus is also generating “amazing looking” AI wallpapers with Stable Diffusion technology.
Volkswagen to integrate ChatGPT in cars
VW declared at CES 2024 that it will be the first carmaker to provide AI voice assistance powered by ChatGPT in its vehicles. The AI chatbot will be incorporated into Volkswagen’s infotainment system and will have climate and infotainment control capabilities.
Starting in the second quarter of 2024, Volkswagen claims to be the first major manufacturer to provide ChatGPT as a standard feature.
Samsung AI in Hyundai Cars
To integrate Samsung’s SmartThings with Hyundai and Kia’s connected automobiles, the Hyundai Motor Group and Samsung are working together. The partnership will concentrate on integrating smart home and in-car technologies.
Customers of Hyundai and Kia will be able to use the infotainment systems in their automobiles to remotely operate digital appliances in their homes thanks to this agreement. With the use of artificial intelligence (AI) speakers, televisions, and smartphone applications, customers will also be able to remotely monitor various automotive functions.
Together with an integrated home energy management service, the partnership will also develop the “Car-to-Home” and “Home-to-Car” services.
