Apple Vision Pro: With the Apple Vision Pro, “The Simpsons,” which has a long history of accurately foreseeing the future, appears to have done it once again. An October 2016 episode of the television programme titled “Friends and Family” showed Springfield inhabitants using futuristic glasses that project information into their field of vision, emulating the features of the previously announced Apple Vision Pro.
Apple Vision Pro in The Simpsons?
Residents of the made-up city of Springfield are seen using a gadget that uncannily resembles the Vision Pro in the episode “Friends and Family.” Characters lose their sense of space due to the devices, running into manholes and light posts, which causes pandemonium throughout the city.
While the showrunners have consistently stated that the “predictions” the show has made are coincidental, some have referred to it as clairvoyant.
Does the show actually predict the future?
“The Simpsons” has a history of making what appears to be prophecies. From political results to technical breakthroughs, the show has accurately predicted many events throughout the years. Trump’s election to the presidency, Disney and Fox’s merger, and the release of smartwatches are a few noteworthy predictions.
