India, while increasing its defense power, successfully tested a magnificent and sharp weapon on Tuesday. India successfully test-fired the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile – QRSM. The QRSM missile targeted an unmanned aircraft in the air.
Defense Defense and Development Organization (DRDO) has congratulated the successful test of the missile by tweeting the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Rajnath said that DRDO has achieved a milestone by launching QRSM missile. This missile is a ground-to-air weapon.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted and wrote, ‘Best wishes to DRDO for successful test of QRSM missile twice in a row. The first test was carried out on 13 November, in which the radar and missile were directly targeted in the first attempt while testing the capability. At the same time, in today’s test, the capability of the attack made on the detection of the aircraft in the state of war has been found out.
This missile was tested by DRDO in Chandipur range of Odisha. The Quick Reaction Surface to Air missile has the capability to destroy aircraft, helicopters, drones and enemy missiles ranging from 3 km to 30 km. Its total speed is 5758 kilometers per hour. Bharat Electronics Limited and Bharat Dynamics Limited have helped DRDO in its construction.
