Blinkit: Zomato’s quick-commerce portal Blinkit announced a new partnership with Sony that will see the highly anticipated PlayStation 5 added to its marketplace. The company plans to release the gaming system on April 5th, providing gamers with an easy way to buy. Read on to know more.
Sony PS5 Slim now available on Blinkit in select cities
Starting today, April 5, India will be able to purchase Sony’s PlayStation 5 Slim. In a few minutes, Blinkit can deliver it to you. Thus, for your new device, you won’t even need to leave the comforts of your home. But, depending on where you’re ordering from, it may take longer to deliver the console.

The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, which does not include a disc drive, costs Rs 44,990, while the PlayStation 5 Slim with a disc drive costs Rs 54,990.
All you need to know about the latest console
Compared to the previous model, the PS5 Slim boasts a streamlined form factor and 30% less volume occupied. While the Digital Edition weighs 30 per cent less than the previous generation model, the normal PS5, which has an integrated disc drive, is eighteen per cent lighter than the model that came before it.
The PlayStation 5 can play games that support up to 120 frames per second (FPS) and up to 120 Hz of output on a 4K resolution display. In addition to Ray Tracing technology, which replicates each individual light ray in compatible games to provide more lifelike shadows and reflections, the console offers HDR for a more colourful viewing experience.
Up to 1TB of onboard storage is available with the PlayStation 5 Slim series, while the previous model only offered 825GB.
