Flipkart: Flipverse is a place in the metaverse where people can find products in a photorealistic virtual location and buy them using the Flipkart App. Flipverse was made with eDAO’s cutting-edge Web3 technology stack. It will offer shoppers in a digital world gamified, interactive, and immersive shopping experiences by giving them access to their favourite brands, Super coins, and digital collectibles.
Objective of Flipverse
The goal of the launch is to “flip” the way people think about shopping, letting people get closer to their favourite brands in a metaverse where communication goes both ways. Flipverse will be available on FireDrops, a new platform from Flipkart that can be accessed through the app of the e-commerce site.
Naren Ravula, VP and Head of Product Strategy and Deployment at Flipkart Labs, said, “The launch of Flipverse will continue to have an impact on innovative industries like e-commerce and improve the customer experience while delivering a gamified and immersive shopping experience. This is especially true since multiple brands in India have adopted the metaverse and web3 platforms.”
Flipverse will give a lot of brands the tools they need to make unique product launches, discoveries, and inspiring experiences that will attract and keep users’ attention. At the same time, brands will be able to make their digital twins ready for the metaverse in the virtual world. The digital twin can then try out products from brands, win deals, and claim digital collectibles that give access to unique deals and experiences.

In this first version of Flipverse, a lot of different brands will use the idea of a virtual theatre to show off their products and deals. This includes sportswear, wearable electronics, fashion, home appliances, and cosmetics. There will be a lot of brands there, like Puma, Noise, Nivea, Lavie, Tokyo Talkies, Campus, VIP, Ajmal Perfumes, Himalaya, Butterfly India, etc. The first part of Flipverse is only for Android devices and will be available for a week. The goal is to get millions of people to use Flipverse and make shopping easier in the future.
