Fraud: The prevalence of online scams is rising right now. Without any of their fault, people are falling for scams and losing money. When attempting to make a doctor appointment online lately, a woman in Mumbai became the victim of fraud.

A woman wanted a doctor’s appointment at a hospital in Chembur who worked in a private company in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The woman called the hospital’s number based on information she had discovered online. According to the press, she was unaware that this number had been released online by a cybercriminal with bad intentions. According to the news, a woman was tricked into losing a significant amount of money while attempting to make an appointment (Online scam Mumbai). One and a half lakh rupees were stolen by the scammer.
