Galaxy Unpacked 2024: On January 17, Samsung intends to unveil the new AI-powered features and flagship Galaxy S24 smartphones of the upcoming generation. The live event is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT or 11:30 p.m. IST at the SAP Centre in San Jose, California. Additionally, YouTube and Samsung’s social media accounts will broadcast it live. Press representatives received invitations from the corporation this morning, confirming the date.

The Galaxy S24 range, or Samsung‘s next generation of Galaxy S smartphones, is anticipated to be unveiled at the event. The invite’s tagline, “Galaxy AI is coming,” refers to the latest flagship series’ built-in AI capabilities, which are rumoured to include the Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models. The new Galaxy S series “will set a higher standard for the most intelligent mobile experience yet,” according to the firm.
In addition, Samsung’s India website now offers a reservation system for the Galaxy S24 series. To get the phones as soon as possible, interested consumers can pay Rs. 1,999 to sign up for the VIP ticket.
Galaxy S24 expected specs
According to leaks and reports, the upcoming Galaxy S24 series will include a titanium body for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, a redesigned phone with rounded edges, and frequent processor and camera improvements.
It appears that the Galaxy S24 series will be the first from Samsung to use artificial intelligence (AI), given the company’s recent introduction of Gauss, its own generative AI model. The flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU from Qualcomm and the newest Exynos 2400 processor from Samsung, both of which offer cutting-edge AI technologies, are expected to power the new phones.
AMOLED LTPO screens with variable refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and One UI 6.1, which is based on Android 14, are anticipated to be featured on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 range of smartphones. It has been reported that the Ultra variant will have a 200-megapixel quad camera arrangement, while the standard variants may have 50-megapixel triple camera units.
It’s unknown if the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 CPU would be used in the Galaxy S24’s Indian debut.
