Depression is a becoming a common medical condition in India. It is mainly affecting the youth of the country which stays in hopes of achieving big in their life and when recieves a setback or a failure in the same, they get surrounded by negativity. Recently, s similar incident came into limelight, when a boy who was searching for job doesn’t gets an employment and meanwhile her mother gets behind the bar in a criminal case, failing in getting bail order for her mother tries to give up on his life.
To take a suicidal action, the depressed boy kept on searching “Best ways to suicide” on Google. Meanwhile the Google vigilance agency, Interpol came across these searches and it immediately informed Mumbai Police about the whole scenario, after understanding the case, Mumbai Police arrived at the spot in two hours and saved life of the boy.
How It Exactly Happened?
According to the information, On Tuesday, Mumbai Police received an e-mail from Interpol. Interpol also shared the contact details of that boy to the responsible authorities. In an immediate response, Mumbai Police tracked the provided mobile number sent by Interpol and reached at the boy’s home.
After saving the boy’s life, authorities took the boy to Crime Branch Office. Later, he was questioned by the police “Why he was searching best ways for suicide” on internet. The boy responded that he has lost all the hopes in his life. He informed that his mother was two years ago in a criminal case and he can’t afford to incur the cost of legal proceedings which is required for bail orders. He said, due to being trapped in such situations, he planned to give up on his life and searched the “best ways for suicide” on internet.
Earlier also, When a girl, resident of Sahranpur tried to give up on her life by jumping into canal, but prior doing this, she searched on Google “How to Suicide”. She received a suicide helpline number after that the whole case was managed by the area’s DIG.
