Google: A tiny card that displays air quality updates is being distributed by Google Discover, the company’s personalised cards feature. With this latest update, the Discover page of the Google app now shows the Air Quality Index (AQI) on the main screen. The small card isn’t compatible with tablets or some foldable devices, but it can be found on iOS and Android devices right now. To give the Customise menu a more consistent appearance across the two operating systems, Google has also updated it with checkboxes.
Google Discover now shows AQI details
On the Google app’s Discover home screen, the new miniature card is located on the left side. Based on the user’s location and the amount of time the smartphone is connected to the internet, it shows the current air quality recommendations. Along with a colour-coded status dot and the update time, the AQI is displayed as a numerical value.
Google Discover now offers air quality updates, giving consumers useful information about the area around them. Google keeps improving its individualised user experience by adding this option to the Discover page.
