Google: Google has revealed a new tool that will allow users to practise speaking and advance their language abilities in Search for a number of countries, including India. In the next few days, Google will be providing interactive English-speaking practice to Android users in Argentina, Colombia, India (Hindi), Indonesia, Mexico, and Venezuela. In the future, the feature will be extended to more nations and languages.
Google’s New feature
Under this new feature, students will be given real-world cues to answer, and they will use a vocabulary term to construct their own spoken responses. Practise sessions last three to five minutes, and participants can choose to receive daily reminders to continue refining their abilities in addition to receiving tailored feedback.
The innovative deep learning model named Deep Aligner, which was created in partnership with the Google Translate team, is the foundation of this feature’s technology.
Partners with teachers and experts
Google announced that it has collaborated with educators, linguists, and pedagogical specialists to develop a speaking practice tool.
Google Said,
“Among the several new technologies we developed, contextual translation provides the ability to translate individual words and phrases in context.”
