Google Play Store: Nothing Chats was introduced as a means of creating “a blue bubble bridge” to enable iMessage for owners of Nothing Phone (2). Nothing Chat App removed from Google Play Store

Nothing took down its Nothing Chats Beta app from the Google Play Store less than a week after it was released. The firm said that there are some flaws in the current version of the app, so they are postponing the launch until later.

Nothing declared that Nothing Chats would allow Android users to communicate with iPhone users via iMessage. Much of what Nothing sought to do with Nothing Chats was rendered unusable later that week when Apple announced that support for RCS is coming in late 2024.

November 17th saw the release of the Nothing Chats app despite this. Less than a day later, users discovered all the security flaws, proving that it is possible to intercept users’ communications with little to no hacking on SunBird and Nothing Chats via proxy.
