Google Play Store: Google has rolled out auto app archiving feature to the Google Playstore for everyone. The new feature itself reduces the storage occupied by Apps that you don’t use for a longer period of time. The tech giant has now given a simple option on Google Play Store to activate this feature.
Even after activating auto archive, the icons of the archived apps will reflect on the homescreen of the mobiles. But a small cloud icon will reflect on them to signify that the app is not fully available to use. Users will be able to see archived apps in the Manage apps and device panel in the android app store placed under the manage tab.
The auto archive feature option is rolling out for everyone now, but as per user claims, the feature was fiist spotted on the Google Play Store version 37.4 and 37.5.
Alongside, the Google has also added another feature which is if an android users don’t use any app for three month, it will automatically remove all the persmissions granted to the apps earlier and you’ll not encounter notifications from that app. This feature is aimed to enhance the device battery efficiency and safety of the mobile phones.
