Instrument Playground: Google has introduced a new AI tool to create music which marks the beginning of the upcoming festive season. Simon Doury, an artist in residence at Google Arts and Culture lab has rolled out a new tool named Instrument Playground by the company. The new AI-powered tool can create music inspired by musical instruments.
Instrument Playground: How it Works
Google’s new AI-powered music tool can generate music like musical instruments. It is trained with 100 musical instruments including veena from Indian origin, Mbria from Zimbabwe and many others. It enables users to choose from several instruments that they want to play and then it generates a clip of 20 seconds based on the user’s input
Users can also add suitable adjectives to make their prompt more effective. For ex- they can add adjectives like romantic, Sad, Happy and others to get the desired results. Instrument Playground will also allow users to play and create sound clips using different modes including Beat, Ambient, Pitch and others.
Still in Experimental Stage
Google’s new AI-powered music creation tool is still in the experimental phase, but it has already generated a lot of buzz in the music industry. Many people have already used the new tool for creating short clips of music.
