Google Chrome: There is some major news if you use Chrome, the web browser from Google. A warning has been issued by the authorities for Google Chrome users. The popular internet browser Google Chrome has multiple issues that are compromising system security and user data, according to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In).
Google Chrome high-severity warning
By rating these defects as high-risk, CERT-In has urged that immediate action be taken. CERT-In is an organisation charged with controlling and educating the public about all cybersecurity issues.
CERT-In has provided extensive explanations of numerous Google Chrome issues. According to the agency, hackers are able to run code as they like, get around security measures, or modify the target computer. Users are in severe danger due to these issues. Your private information and system information may also be compromised as a result.
“A remote attacker could allow these vulnerabilities by executing a specially crafted HTML page,” CERT-In said in a statement.
How to be safe?
The company strongly suggests users upgrade their Google Chrome browser right away for the impacted software. The cybersecurity firm also advises users to update their software, including their browsers, to prevent potential threats in the future.
