Honor 80 Pro straight screen variant with 160MP camera launched in China, all we know

Honor 80 Pro: The company today formally unveiled the Honor 80 Pro straight-screen variant following numerous leaks and rumours. According to Honor, the first official sales of this gadget will start at 10:08 on January 6th across all channels. This device shares a lot of similarities with the standard version in terms of appearance and design. The usage of a curved screen is the obvious distinction, though. One of this device’s key selling points is the main camera, which has a 160MP ultra-clear sensor. Additionally, this smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This chip provides intelligent scene identification for six key scenes and AI Vlog video master.

Honor 80 Pro screen

The 6.67-inch display on the Honor 80 Pro straight screen version is a decent size. The flexible display has a central punch-hole architecture and this OLED panel supports a resolution of 2400 x 1080. Additionally, the display offers 1920Hz PWM dimming, 10-bit colour depth, and 120Hz refresh rate.

This phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 CPU, which performs admirably. It has a 160MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The Honor 80 Pro straight screen variant has a 4800 mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging to keep the lights on. Under the optical screen, a fingerprint scanner is supported by a plastic centre frame. This device has a 7.9mm body diameter and weighs between 186 and 193 grammes. It comes in three colours: pink, ink jade green, and vivid black.
