Google Chrome: With its extensive extension library and fast speed, Google Chrome is a major player in the browser market. However, especially if you have numerous tabs open, Google isn’t necessarily to blame for excessive memory consumption.

Thanks to Google, users can now check the RAM consumption of each tab in their browser without opening a new window, thanks to the new hovercards feature. Here is how you can check it.

How to check your Google Chrome tabs memory usage

Google modified Chrome recently so that it displays the memory usage information for every tab. Because of this, Chrome will inform users of the amount of RAM that each tab, or, to put it another way, each website, is presently consuming. Users may then utilise this information to minimise the system’s overall burden by removing any tabs that they no longer need.

Users had to use the Chrome Task Manager to check their RAM use previously. It is now much simpler to check RAM without opening a separate window thanks to Google’s new Chrome hovercards feature. Your system memory and Chrome will be easier to manage with the RAM hover cards.
