ChatGPT: Users of Nothing Phones may now quickly access the ChatGPT voice assistant from the Quick Settings panel and home screen of the phone by using a new shortcut. CEO Carl Pei stated in a post on X that this feature is accessible for both Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2).
Nothing Phone users can now use ChatGPT from the home screen
Carl Pei has announced via a tweet that the AI-powered assistant will be arriving on the two smartphones from the brand. These gadgets come with a voice assistant that sounds like a cross between Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri.
It’s important to remember that the Nothing Phone series devices’ built-in voice assistant is not completely replaced by the ChatGPT assistant. Nevertheless, it will no longer be possible to use them by holding down the power or home buttons.
How to access the feature
- To download and set up the ChatGPT app, visit the Google Play Store.
- You can add the ChatGPT shortcut to the Quick Settings panel or install it as a widget once the app has been downloaded.
- The voice assistant powered by ChatGPT can be launched by just touching on this shortcut icon.
- The assistant may now take voice instructions and receive questions from users.
