Instagram Outage: Instagram Sorry! Says The Bug That Caused The Hours-Long Outage Has Been Fixed

Instagram Outage: Instagram has said that an outage that told people their accounts were suspended has been fixed. The website and app of the photo-sharing platform owned by Meta were both down for eight hours. Many users said that they were locked out and got a message that said “we suspended your account,” but they could still scroll through their feeds. Others who posted on Twitter said they had no access at all. Some people said that the number of people who followed them went down, probably because some of their followers’ accounts were locked. An apology was posted on Twitter by Instagram, which stated, “We’ve rectified this bug immediately — it was causing individuals in different regions of the world to have issues accessing their accounts and caused a temporary change for some in the number of followers. Sorry.”

We’re looking into it and sorry for the trouble.” Some users claimed that their accounts had been banned.

Email and password reportedly could not be found

They were informed that, in accordance with Instagram’s policy, the company reserves the right to deactivate certain accounts that breach community guidelines, such as those that are illegal, bullying, hate speech, spam, or that violate intellectual property rights. When they tried to get back into their accounts, their email and password reportedly could not be found.
