iPhone: A new report says that tech giant Apple’s recently released iPhone 14 Plus isn’t getting much attention because it has “unexpectedly low sales.”
MacRumors says that a report from DigiTimes says that the “enthusiastic” response to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is much bigger than the sales of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.
Sources who spoke to DigiTimes said that even though the Pro and non-Pro iPhone models sold differently this year, the total number of Phone 14 models shipped will likely be about the same as the number of iPhone 13 models shipped in the second half of 2021.
Apple may cut its orders
The report said that if sales of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus “stay flat” for a while, Apple may cut orders for parts to make the devices in the second half of October.
If Apple cuts orders more than expected, the total number of iPhone 14s shipped by the end of the year could be lower than the number of iPhone 13s shipped in the same time frame last year, the report said.
iPhone 14 Plus
Apple recently announced that the iPhone 14 Plus will be available in India. It has a 6.7-inch screen, an improved dual-camera system, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS via satellite, A15 Bionic, and a longer-lasting battery.
Starting at Rs 89,900, customers in India can buy the iPhone 14 in midnight, blue, starlight, purple, and red colors with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.
