iPhone 14 : On Wednesday, Apple is anticipated to introduce its iPhone 14 lineup at its yearly September keynote presentation.
The “Far Out” tagline-teased product event will take place at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, and will be livestreamed on Apple’s website and social media platforms.
The cost of Cupertino’s newest models is still unknown, especially at a time when skyrocketing inflation has sparked concerns about an impending recession. Insiders anticipate a price increase for the most recent iPhone 14 series, albeit it is unclear by how much. However, one argument contends that even if Apple raises the price of its most recent iPhones, the effect on consumers’ wallets will be negligible. According to certain estimates, Apple will raise the cost of the iPhone 14 Pro series by $100.
The good news for Apple is its devoted, wealthy customers who can afford the higher sticker costs of new iPhones despite the fact that consumers aren’t as flush with cash as they were before the pandemic.
Apple reportedly instructed suppliers to produce at least 90 million units, despite analysts’ worst predictions for the economy. This indicates Cupertino anticipates the same level of demand for the iPhone 14 as there was for the iPhone 13 last year. Wedbush Securities analysts estimate that 240 million out of 1 billion iPhone customers worldwide have not changed their phones in more than three and a half years, which suggests that there will be considerable demand for the iPhone 14.
When Apple introduces its new line-up at Apple Park, we anticipate seeing four iPhone 14 versions. According to estimates, Apple will probably stop making the “small” model with a 5.4-inch screen this year. The new “Max” or “Plus,” or whatever name Apple decides to give the gadget, will probably replace the “mini.” Between the less priced “Pro” variant and the ordinary iPhone will be the 6.7-inch model. Expect the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max to include an enhanced front-facing camera, a longer battery life, and a slightly improved version of the current A15 CPU.

What’s new?
A16 CPU upgrades, a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens (up from 12-megapixels), an enhanced ultra-wide angle lens with bigger pixels, and possibly a new telephoto lens with a greater zoom are all anticipated for the Pro versions. According to rumors, Apple may include an astrophotography feature in the upcoming iPhone 14, which appears to be hinted at in the “Far out” invitation. Instead of the notch, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will both have a pill-shaped cut-out on the display.
A feature that has been available on Android phones for years could possibly be added by Apple to the Pro lineup for notifications. The high-end iPhone 14 may also get a satellite connectivity option from Cupertino, but it would only be useful in an emergency.
At its “Far out” event, Apple is also most likely to unveil the second-generation AirPods Pro. There’s a chance that the AirPods Pro 2 will have new styling, lossless audio capabilities, and other improvements. Since the initial AirPods Pro model debuted in 2019, Apple hasn’t released a new version. True wireless earbud sales are soaring, but Apple is under pressure from both well-known brands like Sony and Bose and low-cost competitors like BoAt and Noise in India.
Apple will also discuss iOS 16, which was first revealed in June and has been in testing for months, during the event. In the middle of September, Apple usually releases the most recent iOS update concurrently with the launch of new iPhones.

Do we have to pay even more this time? Here’s the Answer
Given the aforementioned economic factors, a price increase for the iPhone 14 Pro series is most likely. Well-known Apple expert Ming Chi-Kuo has also stated that he anticipates Apple will raise the cost of its Pro series. Costs will probably increase if Apple includes the more advanced camera, the new pill-shaped notch display, and other upgrades.
The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will both unquestionably surpass the $1,000 threshold if the Average Selling Price (ASP) increases by 15%. Dan Ives, a Wedbush analyst, forecasted a rise of $100 in pricing for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. This means that the iPhone 14 Pro might start at $1100 and the iPhone Pro Max at $1199. He anticipates that the base iPhone 14 will continue to cost the same as last year.
