iPhone 15: After the previous iPhone announcement, the tech community began speculating about two next Apple products: the iPhone 15 and Pro models. Even though the reveal is most likely going to happen in September or October 2023, speculation is already wild about everything that will be included in the new Apple range.
While a new report suggests Dynamic Island Notches for all iPhone 15 variants, numerous tech blogs have claimed in their iPhone 15 2023 Updates that other features to watch out for include USB Type C connectors, Haptic Control Buttons, and larger RAM. All of the rumoured iPhone 15 features are examined in depth in this article. So let’s begin.
iPhone 15 Dynamic island
Although it was already widely rumoured, the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models will include Apple’s distinctive Dynamic Island notch.
The tipster stated that the Dynamic Island notch will likely be present on all four iPhone 15 models, including the iPhone 15, Plus,Pro, and Pro Max. All four of the forthcoming iPhone models, which are anticipated to be released in the fall of this year, are anticipated to maintain the form factor and screen size of the current iPhone lineup.
Type C port
Everyone has heard that Apple has switched entirely to USB type-c. Additionally, it looks that all models of the smartphone will support USB type-c. Although there have been years of rumours about this, it is finally confirmed. The EU rule that would require all smartphone makers to use the USB type-c port is directly tied to this. This law will go into effect in 2024.
For charging, any device—including smartphones, tablets, cameras, consoles, headphones, keyboards, and navigation systems—must have a USB type-c port. Therefore, it is very likely that the smartphone will have USB type C.
Apple A17 chipset
The most recent Apple A17 chip, which is actually anticipated to be a significant advance, is now what we will most likely receive. This promises to enhance the process from 5 nanometers to 3 nanometers, which translates to a gain in performance of between 10% and 15%. The newest chip may also contribute to power usage reductions of up to 30%.
All of this sounds wonderful, but there is yet another catch. Only the iPhone Pro models, according to rumours, will include the newest A17 chip. In the upcoming years, Apple will most likely keep up the tradition of pro models having newer chips while non-pro models have older chips.
