iPhone 15 series leaked battery details
These details have been released thanks to a Chinese government database. According to the regulatory registration, the base model of the iPhone 15 has a 3349 mAh battery with a charging speed of 12.981 Wh. The iPhone 15 Plus, on the other hand, features a larger battery of 4383 mAh that offers 16.950 Wh of charging speed.
According to the leaks, the iPhone 15 Pro has a 4383mAh battery, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 4422mAh battery. These versions support speeds of 12.70 Wh and 17.109 Wh, respectively. This is in contrast to prior rumours that Apple was raising charging speeds for high-end Pro models to 27 W. However, according to the Chinese regulatory listing, the iPhone 15 Pro models retain the same charging speeds as last year’s iPhone 14 Pro series.
It has been reported that the iPhone 14 Pro versions may charge at up to 27W with Apple’s 30W USB-C power adapter. So, we should expect the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max to have the same charging speeds.
