iPhone 15: Will the next series from Apple be cheaper than iPhone 14 Plus? The inside story here

iPhone 15: This year, Apple made a big change by replacing the 5.4-inch mini iPhone with the iPhone 14 Plus, which is not a Pro phone but is the largest phone they make. The new iPhone 14 Plus is identical in appearance, cameras, and performance to the normal iPhone 14, but it is substantially larger in size and has a battery life comparable to that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. But even with this upgrade, Apple is “seriously” worried about how well the iPhone 14 Plus will sell. Sales have been disappointing. So, a report says that Apple is now looking for new ways to make the iPhone 15 lineup for next year.

Make the difference between the Pro model and the basic model smaller

Leaks from yeux1122 on Naver say that Apple is rethinking its plans for the iPhone 15 Pro and non-Pro models. One of the most important changes being thought about for the marketing plan is to make the difference between the Pro model and the basic model smaller. This is the opposite of what most reports have said in the past. The blog says that “through the display supply chain, the growth of dynamic island adoption has already been confirmed in the base model.”

The price is likely to be different than it is now

Also, the article suggests that Apple may use different materials and camera parts for the Pro model and the iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra). The report indirectly confirmed this through suppliers of parts and basic body frames. As opposed to that, “The pricing is the primary issue with the iPhone 14 Plus, which is a serious situation. If the 15 series is in the Plus position, the price is likely to be different than it is now.”

Apple has set the starting price for the Plus model at $899. But the report that MacRumors looked at suggests that the iPhone 15 Plus could be cheaper. Not only that, but if the price of the iPhone 15 Plus goes down, the price of the regular iPhone, which starts at $799, could also go down, unless Apple wants to make the price difference between the regular iPhone and the Plus smaller.
