Design
The rear glass back of the Nothing Phone 1 attracts attention, while the plastic back of the iQOO is unobtrusive. The so-called Glyph interface is a unique feature because it illuminates differently depending on the situation and provides different use cases.
Compared to the plastic back and plastic frame on the iQOO Neo 7, the Nothing Phone 1 has a premium glass front, glass back, and aluminium frame.
Display
Neo 7 offers a higher peak brightness of 1300 nits despite the fact that both offer 120Hz AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, AOD support, and HDR10+ support. The iQOO phone lacks Gorilla Glass 5 protection, which nothing else provides.
Software
Although Nothing Phone 1 boots with Android 12, it can be upgraded to Nothing OS 1.5.2 which is based on Android 13. Compared to the Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 of the iQOO Neo 7, this is more stock-like. Therefore, choose Nothing if you prefer simple software, and iQOO Neo 7 if you prefer more features and customization options.
