Gemini: Google has recently rebranded its AI Large Language Model, Bard to Gemini. The newly launched AI chatbot has arrived with a completely new interface and some newly added features. The search giant has also launched a Gemini Advanced which is claimed to be the most powerful AI tool model. To use Gemini Advanced, users will need to pay a monthly charge of Rs. 1950, but as a promotional offer, Google is now offering a Gemini Advanced subscription free for the first two months to users.
With the launch of Gemini Advanced, the tech industry is doubtful about how it will affect OpenAI’s popular LLM, ChatGPT and some people are even asking if it is the beginning of the End of ChatGPT’s Reign.
Will Gemini End ChatGPT’s Era
When there are talks all around the tech industry about the future of ChatGPT after the launch of Gemini Advanced. Some reports state that there is no possibility that Google’s Gemini or Gemini Advanced will surpass ChatGPT. Both ChatGPT and Gemini hold different areas of expertise altogether.
Where Gemini gives a run to ChatGPT with features such as muti-modality, real-time data analysis, factual accuracy and Python code writing. On the other hand, ChatGPT excels in functions like creative content creation and greater accessibility. Gemini Advanced is much more capable of performing highly complex tasks like coding, logical reasoning, following nuanced instructions and creative collaboration. When it comes to pricing, the Google Gemini Advanced can be utilized with a monthly subscription fee of Rs. 1950 which is higher than the ChatGPT Plus subscription which costs around Rs. 1660 in India.
