Kinetic Luna EV: At an initial price of Rs 69,990 (ex-showroom), Kinetic Green has introduced the Luna in an electric variant, known as the E-Luna. When the E-Luna’s reservations began on January 26, Kinetic Green received over 40,000 enquiries from potential buyers of the electric two-wheeler. Kinetic Luna EV powertrain details
There are three battery options for the E-Luna: 1.7 kWh, 2 kWh, and 3 kWh, which have a range of 110 km and 150 km, respectively. The business states that the operating cost is 10 paise per kilometre.
The electric moped is said to have a top speed of 50 km/h thanks to a 2.2 kW hub motor. It has dual shock absorbers at the back and a telescopic fork up front on 16-inch wire-spoke wheels.
Features onboard
The digital instrument panel of the E-Luna is equipped with a CAN-enabled communications protocol. Together with the three riding modes, a detachable rear seat, a USB charging outlet, and a side stand sensor, these features are noteworthy.
The high-strength steel chassis of the E-Luna is built in two-tube construction. With 16-inch wheels, the electric two-wheeler is supported by telescopic forks at the front. Combi-braking is also included.
Price in India
The X1 model is priced at Rs 69,990, while the X2 variant is available for Rs 74,990 (ex-showroom).
