Mahindra’s Car Launched: Indian car manufacturer Mahindra has released the brand new XUV300 TurboSport. This XUV costs between 10.35 lakh to 12.90 lakh. Previously, the XUV300 offered 1.2 turbo-petrol and 1.5 diesel engines, but the new 1.2-liter T-GDi turbo-petrol motor is currently the highest spec powertrain offered.
Engine specs for the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport
The Mahindra XUV300 T-GDi is powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 130 horsepower and 250 Newton-meters of peak torque and is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The engine has a 250bar GDI (gasoline direct injection) fuel system, which is an upgrade from the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol MPFI engine found in the standard XUV300.
The new, more powerful engine produces 20 more horsepower and 30 more Newton-meters of torque than the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol unit that produced 110 horsepower, and as a result, the XUV300 is now the most powerful compact SUV in its category. In addition to the 115 horsepower, 1.5-liter diesel engine, both turbo-petrol engines would also be included.
