Apple Watch: Today’s smart watches are often water-resistant. The timepieces, according to the manufacturers, can endure splashes and last 30 minutes underwater. Yet, most timepieces malfunction when put to the test. But, Apple Watch, which is not just a fantastic tool for tracking your health, can withstand being submerged in water for days. This is a genuine story about a man in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who lost his Apple Watch in the water. It is not a work of fiction. Oddly enough, he was able to locate the watch by utilising the Find My app.
Apple Watch lost and found
The Apple Watch user Rocha lost his device while swimming on a trip in Buzio, according to a story from a Brazilian website. The owner claims that when diving underwater, his Apple Watch’s wristband came off. The article claims that he attempted to locate the Watch but was unsuccessful. He then reportedly applied some technical common sense and attempted to locate the Apple Watch with the Find My app and was successful.
Even though the Apple Watch had stopped working, Rocha still got a notification from the Find My app saying that the Watch had been turned on. Rocha took action by turning on Lost Mode and entering some private data. As a result, he got a message from a 16-year-old girl claiming to have found the Watch via Instagram.
The fitness tracker was discovered by a diver named Fiho. Usually, he gathers lost property and gives it back to its rightful owner. The report states that Fiho informed them he was surprised when Apple Watch came back to life after plugging into a charger because he was not expecting that. Even though it had been in the sea for a few days, the Watch was successfully delivered to the owner in a functional state.
