Mark Zuckerberg: Under the leadership of CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Meta Platforms has escalated its continuing rivalry with Apple, focusing especially on Apple’s most recent invention, the Vision Pro. In a recent thread, Zuckerberg criticised comments about the Vision Pro’s purported advantage over Meta’s own product, the Quest 3 headset.
Mark Zuckerberg defends Meta Quest’s superiority
Zuckerberg declared with confidence that the Meta Quest 3 is the best product overall and that it also delivers greater value. He emphasised that the Quest is clearly superior, dismissing any claim that the devices are identical. In response to queries from The Verge regarding possible regressions in Meta’s upcoming gadgets, Zuckerberg emphasised that the Quest’s unique features included features like precision inputs, motion blur, and weight.
Zuckerberg brought attention to the Meta Quest 3’s 120-gram weight advantage, which makes it more comfortable for extended usage, in a video demonstrating the device’s cutting-edge video passthrough feature. He lauded the larger field of view and wireless architecture of the Quest 3, arguing that Apple’s Vision Pro compromises comfort and portability for its stunning high-resolution display.
