Meta’s Threads: X, formerly known as Twitter, is being directly competed with by Instagram’s Threads app, which was only recently released. The app has added many new features in a short amount of time, and to keep up the trend just added two new features. In this article, we will tell you all about these two amazing features.
Meta’s Threads launches two new features
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, stated that users would soon be able to edit a Thread or record a voice message as a Thread in a post on the site. Some users already have the option to edit a post, so the feature seems to be rolling out right away.
Therefore, you can update your message rather than delete it and start over if you accidentally publish a post that is incorrect or has numerous errors. However, there are restrictions on the feature. You have five minutes to edit the post before it is no longer possible.
Simply press the three-dot menu next to a Threads post and choose the edit option to edit it. There will be a clock next to it so you can make the adjustments right away. Because X has a greater time restriction, this is a drawback.
Additionally, there is the brand-new Voice Threads feature, which enables you to add an audio file or voice remark to a post to make it more conversational. You will now see a microphone icon to capture audio and post it when you try to publish something.
