MG Yep Plus: First revealed in China, the eagerly anticipated MG Yep Plus SUV is an electric SUV. Featuring a stylish appearance and useful amenities, this model is the five-door version of the Baojun Yep. MG Yep Plus specs
The Baojun Yep Plus eSUV’s front wheels are driven by a single 180 Nm and 75 kW (100 horsepower) electric motor. In the future, dual-motor AWD versions might exist. There are four driving modes: Economy+, Economy, Standard, and Sports. The top speed is listed at 150 km/h.
A 41.9 kWh battery pack from Guoxuan High-Tech, which supports quick charging, powers this motor. A single charge is said to have a 401 km CLTC range.
Interior and features
For convenience and utility, the MG Yep Plus model, which has five doors, has 28 storage spaces. back seats up provide a decent 385L of boot space, which can be increased to 1,715L by folding the back seats. It appears that there are neither armrests or separate AC vents for backseat passengers
A dual-tone colour scheme, soft-touch plastics, and contrasting white stitching accentuate the Yep Plus’s roomy and luxurious interior. One 10.1-inch infotainment screen in the middle and one 8.8-inch instrument screen are located on the dashboard.
Will it launch in India?
The debut of the MG Yep Plus together with other models like the Baojun Yonduo or Wuling Cloud might greatly improve the electric vehicle scene in India as MG Motor and JSW Group continue their joint efforts to grow their range in that country.
