Microsoft Teams planning to uplift the video calling experience by using AI, All details here

Microsoft Teams: With its newest feature, Microsoft Teams promises to turn chaotic backgrounds into aesthetically beautiful settings, revolutionising virtual meetings. This new feature, which was unveiled during Microsoft’s Ignite keynote, demonstrates the increasing amount of AI being incorporated into commonplace technology. Read on to learn more about these features.

Microsoft Teams integrates AI

The software giant revealed new features and updates for a number of its products and services, such as Windows, Microsoft 365, and Azure, at this event. Microsoft has also released a number of upgrades for Teams, a messaging and collaboration tool. The AI-driven noise reduction feature is one of the main highlights. Microsoft has begun rolling out this voice isolation technology, which can lower background noise and other meeting participants’ voices in addition to reducing repeated noise. Another AI-powered feature for Microsoft Teams is called “decorate your background.” By clearing clutter or putting plants on the wall, users can virtually improve the space they work in.

Users of Teams can expect further features, like the option to add a private second phone number for certain callers, customise emoji replies, forward chats, and create group chat profile images. New keyboard shortcuts are also being added to the platform to enhance user convenience.

Immersive Spaces: What is it?

Additionally, Microsoft is launching Immersive spaces in Teams, which will be widely accessible in January 2024. Users can build avatars and participate in meetings in a variety of 3D settings with this functionality. To make virtual meetings more interesting, users can partake in interactive activities like gaming, roasting marshmallows, and tossing virtual beanbags in these areas.
