Airtel and Jio: Password sharing for Netflix in India was recently discontinued. Netflix home members can no longer share accounts with people who do not reside in the same home, according to the new rule. Because of this, purchasing your own plan is the only way to keep watching Netflix. The cost of this option might not be within everyone’s means, especially when taking into account other monthly expenses and recharge plans for WiFi and mobile. Many people may struggle financially because of the added expense of an OTT subscription.
To prevent users from having to pay numerous bills for OTT channels, telecom providers like Reliance Jio and Airtel are now offering a number of recharge options that include free Netflix subscriptions in addition to calling and data perks.
