Now you will be able to run one WhatsApp account in four mobile phones. WhatsApp will now allow users to sign in to the same account on other mobile phones, like PCs or tablets. The company has officially announced this new feature. Soon it will be rolled out for users around the world. WhatsApp users have been waiting for this feature for a long time.
One WhatsApp account will be able to run in 4 smartphones
Just like you use WhatsApp Web with the help of a web browser on a PC or tablet, a WhatsApp account can be logged into multiple smartphones instead of one phone. The company is going to roll out this feature soon.
According to WhatsApp’s official blog post, with the help of this feature, users will be able to seamlessly continue message threads and access all their photos and other media from multiple devices without compromising on security or privacy.
How will this feature work
This process is going to be similar to WhatsApp Web. To log in on the second phone, the user has to scan a QR code from the primary phone. However, the company also says that it is also working on an OTP based authentication system as an alternative. You will be able to log in to it on up to 4 other devices in addition to your primary phone. Help can be taken from these points to sign in. Open WhatsApp on the secondary device. Open WhatsApp on your primary phone and find ‘Linked devices’ in Settings. Tap on ‘Link a device’ Follow the on-screen instructions to verify identity. Scan the QR code on the second device from your primary phone.
In this way your WhatsApp account will be logged in on the other phone.
