Nothing Phone (2a): London-based company, Nothing forayed into the Indian smartphone market as a premium smartphone manufacturer. The latest brand launched Nothing Phone (2) this year as a flagship smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Nothing Phone (2) failed to achieve the desired sales as the device came with a higher price tag when compared to Nothing Phone (1). Taking note of declining sales, the smartphone brand has planned to launch a new pocket-friendly smartphone, Nothing (2a). As per rumours, the smartphone is scheduled to be launched in February 2024.
As per Tipster Yogesh Brar, Nothing Phone 2(a) will feature an all-new rear design which will be different from the other two Nothing devices. A recent leak of Nothing Phone 2 (a) suggests that the smartphone is launching at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress.
Nothing Phone 2 (a) Leaked Specs
In terms of specs, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED Display supporting a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset which is capable enough to handle day-to-day tasks and low-graphics gaming.. The powerhouse is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage.
As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup with a primary camera of 50MP. In the front, the smartphone’s display may house a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
As per the recent leaks, the smartphone will run on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14. Nothing Phone 2a is expected to launch at the Mobile World Congress 2024 which is scheduled to take place in February 2024.
