Ola Electric Vehicle: A Bangalore-based electric vehicle manufacturer, has teased the interior of its forthcoming electric vehicle. Ola Electric also indicated aspirations to join the motorcycle market.
Ola Electric’s teaser for its highly anticipated electric car comes at the end of the launch event for the new S1 Air scooter, when it mimicked another tech titan with a final tease.
The latest teaser highlighted what Ola has previously revealed to the globe in the shape of the car’s headlights and full-width DRL. However, unlike earlier teases for the Ola Electric car, the latest film finally revealed the interior of the EV.
What is in the teaser ?
- The teaser showed the silhouette of the electric car’s dashboard, with the infotainment system display in the centre and another screen serving as the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel.
The steering wheel for the Ola Electric car follows the theme established by the electric vehicle maker for the vehicle, which is intended to be positioned as a sporty product when it arrives in 2024.
- The squared-off steering wheel would seem quite at home in a racing vehicle, and it has a slew of what appear to be capacitive touch buttons on each side, which we believe to be controllers for the displays and other capabilities the electric car will provide when it reaches the road.
Other information regarding Ola Electric’s planned electric sports car
Ola’s electric sports car will be constructed at its Future factory near Bangalore. The electric four-door sports car, according to Ola, will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds and have a range of 500 kilometres on a single charge. The Ola electric four-door sports car will also have a complete glass roof, allowing everyone within to take in as much of the scenery as possible.
Ola Electric also revealed plans to enter the market for electric motorcycles.
Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, announced that the company would unveil its electric motorcycle for the Indian market during Holi celebrations in 2023. Ola intends to cater to multiple motorbike categories for the Indian market.
The company believes that the electric motorcycles currently on the market in India are subpar. Ola claims to be raising the bar in the electric motorcycle industry.
Ola Electric has also announced ambitions to enter overseas markets, beginning with the S1 scooter series in Nepal at the end of the year. Across 2023, Ola wants to launch its electric scooters in Latin America and Europe.
Ola’s Future Plans: Thoughts
Ola Electric’s future goals might see the Bangalore-based EV company dominate the automobile sector if it can deliver on its promises. Only time will tell whether or not it is capable of doing so.
