OnePlus 12 to Arrive with Sony’s Latest LYTIA Camera Sensor; All You Should Know

OnePlus 12: OnePlus’s highly anticipated flagship smartphone was earlier confirmed to launch with Qualcomm’s latest flagship grade processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. But the recent development is that the brand has also confirmed that its upcoming smartphone will feature Sony’s latest camera sensor. It has confirmed that OnePlus 12 will come with Sony latest LYTIA sensor which will provide high quality pictures.

OnePlus 12: Sony LYTIA Sensor

LYTIA pixel stacked sensor is Sony’s latest CMOS sensor which utilizes 2 layered transistor pixel technology. LYTIA sensor comes with different layers for the transistors and photodiode layers which ensure better light in the shot and larger photodiodes.

Earlier OnePlus collaborated with Sony to incorporate its LYT-T808 LYTIA image sensor in the OnePlus Open Foldable phone which came with dual layer transistor pixel technology. It is expected that OnePlus will use the same sensor in the OnePlus too.

OnePlus 12: Expected Specs

As confirmed by the smartphone brand, OnePlus 12 will feature a 2k display from BOE with a maximum brightness of 2600 nits. It will also come with Oppo’s Display P1 Chip, an image quality engine.

As far as the power is concerned the device will get the latest flagship grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor which offers 30 percent more performance and 20 percent improved power efficiency. Connectivity features will include Wi-Fi 7, Fast Connect 7800 dual Bluetooth connectivity and 5G support off course.
