OnePlus: OnePlus users can look forward to a number of updates with OxygenOS 14, which is based on Android 14 but has one feature that will be extremely recognisable to iPhone owners. Read on to know more.
OnePlus users to soon enjoy iPhone-like dynamic island feature
First, Xiaomi and other Chinese manufacturers demonstrated how to use Dynamic Island on Android smartphones. With OxygenOS 14, which is its own take on the UI, OnePlus will show notifications that show up at the top of your screen in a creative and interactive manner.
Shishir, a user of X (Twitter), displayed a OnePlus Dynamic Island clone using a screen recorder app on a OnePlus phone running a beta version of OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. A little information chip with a timer floating on top of the phone screen is visible in the X post.
Fluid Cloud
Anyone who has used the Dynamic Island app for the iPhone will feel at home in the “Fluid Cloud.” This popup at the top of the screen is intended to group crucial information in a less obtrusive style
This is a software feature, not a hardware function, unlike the Dynamic Island. Because of this, it won’t just be available on OnePlus phones that are compatible with it. The firm also plans to make it available on its tablets and wearables.
