OPPO A98: The company is getting ready to launch a new phone in its A-series. This year, the company has released some smartphones in the A-series in India and China. Most of the A-series phones have been in the low- to mid-range price range. The next phone in OPPO’s A-series might be a high mid-ranger. It is said that OPPO will launch the A98 with high-end hardware.
Digital Chat Station is the source of the most recent piece of information. Some information has been leaked about the OPPO A98’s screen, camera, and battery. Based on what has been leaked, it seems likely that OPPO’s A98 phone has the highest megapixels and the fastest charging technology of all its A-series phones. Most likely, OPPO will release the phone first in China and then in other places.
Let’s look at what we know so far about the OPPO A98’s features, specs, and other details
The release date of the OPPO A98 is not known yet. A new leak says that the phone will have a Snapdragon SoC while we wait for that. A tip from Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo revealed the phone’s camera specs as well as some other information. The source said that the main camera on the OPPO smartphone will be 108MP. DCS did not talk about the other camera sensors in any way.
There will be a 120Hz Full HD+ display on the front of the phone. There will be a hole punched in it. The leaked information also showed that the edges of the screen on the OPPO A98 will be curved. If this is true, it will be the first phone in the OPPO A series to have a curved screen.

DCS didn’t say what size the screen would be, but they said that the A98 would have a high screen-to-body ratio and a thin chin bezel. The source also gave some information about other parts of the phone. The Qualcomm SM7325 SoC, which is probably a Snapdragon 778G SoC, will be there. This also means that the phone will be able to connect to a 5G network.
Oppo A98 supports 67W charging
The source also said what the phone’s battery specs were. Under the hood of the A98, 5G will be a 5000mAh battery, and it will also be able to charge quickly with 67W. This will be a big improvement over most OPPO A-series phones, which usually support 18W and 33W charging.
The leaker did not say how much RAM and storage space the A98 5G has. We can expect, though, that the phone will have at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. OPPO could release the phone in China with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. But more information about it won’t be known until the launch event.
