Cyberpunk 2077: The Cyberpunk 2077 trial is free this weekend, according to CD Projekt Red. Via the game’s official X account, the announcement was released. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners worldwide will be able to access it. Read on to know more.
Play CyberPunk 2077 for Free
The free trial began on March 28 at 4 p.m. CET (8 p.m. IST), and it ended on April 1 at 8:59 a.m. CEST (12:29 p.m. IST), according to information on the Cyberpunk 2077 website. During the trial period, you will be allowed to play the game for five hours on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, which are current-generation platforms. CDPR claims that “technical reasons” prevent PC players from participating in the experiment.
You can only play Cyberpunk for five hours during the trial time; after that, you’ll need to buy the game to keep playing. In the event that you decide to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 after the trial expires, the developer claims that your saved progress will be carried over to the full version of the game.
You cannot play the Phantom Liberty expansion if you have already purchased the main game because it is not included in the trial.

Cyberpunk 2077 was launched in 2020, however, because of a lot of glitches and performance concerns, it was met with a lot of criticism from both fans and critics.
