Prime Minister Modi: A global invitation to take part in the next Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023 has been sent out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tech enthusiasts and innovators. The dates of the event are set for December 12–14 in New Delhi. Modi underlined in a LinkedIn post the important role artificial intelligence (AI) is playing in revolutionising a number of industries, including innovation, technology, healthcare, education, and agriculture.

Modi commended India for its improvements in internet access, mobile penetration, and digital inclusion models, highlighting the nation’s explosive technological growth over the past ten years. He further emphasised India’s dedication to using AI for a range of beneficial goals, including language-serving programmes, individualised education, easily accessible healthcare, and informed agriculture.
There will be interesting seminars at the summit, such as the AI Expo, which you shouldn’t miss. There will be presentations by more than 150 startups showcasing their most recent AI developments.

India reaffirmed its commitment to using technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), for the benefit of people in its capacity as the Lead Chair of GPAI. India was elected to the council in November 2022 as a result of its active participation in GPAI projects since the organization’s founding in June 2020, which Modi emphasised. He highlighted India’s commitment to developing a legal framework for safe and trusted AI, guaranteeing its broad and long-lasting application.
