Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar: The “Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar” is a brand-new set of national awards from the government in the categories of science, technology, and innovation. The Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar is intended to recognise the noteworthy contributions made by scientists, technologists, and innovators singly or in teams in a variety of sectors of science, technology, and technology-led innovation.
Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar: What is it?
One of India’s highest honours in the areas of science, technology, and innovation will be the Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar. The awards are given to scientists, technologists, and innovators who have made outstanding contributions in the form of ground-breaking research, innovation, or discovery in any area of science, technology, or technology-led innovation. These individuals may work for the government, in the private sector, or independently.
Eligible Subjects
The Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar will be awarded in the following 13 fields: physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics & computer science, earth science, medicine, engineering, agricultural science, environmental science, technology & innovation, atomic energy, space science and technology, and others.
