Realme GT Neo 5: After releasing the Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone earlier this year, the OPPO-backed company is getting ready to release its successor, the Realme GT Neo 5 series, which includes the GT Neo 5 and GT Neo 5T. China’s custom is to skip the 4 number, so the GT Neo 5 and GT Neo 5T will not have a 4.
Now, before the official launch of the new Realme GT Neo 5 series phones, information about their batteries and how they can be charged has been leaked online.
The Realme GT Neo 5 will get a better battery and faster charging.
Realme GT Neo 5 will have two battery options
Digital Chat Station says that the Realme GT Neo 5 will have two battery options and fast charging, just like the GT Neo 3.
There will be a version with a big battery and fast charging (5,000mAh + 150W) and a version with a slightly smaller battery and fast charging (4,600mAh + 240W).
The current Realme GT Neo 3 also comes in two versions: one with 5,000mAh and 80W fast charging and the other with 4,500mAh and 150W. If the GT Neo 5 lives up to its new battery and charging claims, it will be a significant improvement over the previous model.
Sony IMX890 main camera sensor
Also, it is said that the Realme GT Neo 5 series will have a Sony IMX890 main camera sensor that will work with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and will perform better than the Realme GT Neo 3 series. It will have three cameras on the back and either a 16MP or 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
So far, leaks and reports are saying that the phone will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen that can support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to have a MediaTek Dimensity 9-series processor inside, but the exact chipset is still unknown. The phone will likely ship with the Realme company’s Realme UI 4.0, a modified version of the Android 13 operating system.
