OnePlus: A number of retailers of smartphones have made threats to stop selling OnePlus products at their stores, including tablets, wearables, and smartphones. Starting on May 1, OnePlus devices will no longer be sold at any of the 4,500 locations across 23 retail chains that operate in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. This is a result of unsolved problems with bundling, slow claim processing, and limited profit margins. Read on to know more.
Retailers threaten to stop the sale of OnePlus devices
Reportedly addressed to Ranjeet Singh, Director of Sales at OnePlus India, the letter details ORA’s long-standing problems and the difficulties its dealers have in working with the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer. This information was obtained According to the group, there are still unsolved key challenges that its retailers have encountered while trying to sell OnePlus products throughout the years.
The group claims that OnePlus’s persistently low-profit margins make it difficult for enterprises to survive, making this one of the more notable problems. In addition, the group notes that customers get unsatisfied due to delays in processing service and warranty claims.
Retailers further assert that they frequently have to bundle goods and services with OnePlus devices, which, in accordance with ORA, restricts their capacity to meet the needs of their customers and yields unsold device inventory.
