Samsung Galaxy Book 4: A story states that the world’s first “AI laptop,” the Samsung Galaxy Book 4, is expected to arrive on December 15. Samsung now has an advantage over rivals LG and HP, who are also working on producing AI laptops that make use of Intel’s most recent Core Ultra chipsets. Read on to learn more.
Samsung Galaxy Book 4 series details
On-device AI, as its name implies, describes gadgets that are capable of executing artificial intelligence functions locally; that is, all AI processing takes place on the device itself as opposed to in the cloud. As a result, there’s no need to transfer files or keep an internet connection going.
The publication also states that Intel Core Ultra processors—the new Meteor Lake chips that do not have the ‘i’ branding—will be available in the Galaxy Book 4 lineup.
Processor details
The i-series branding for Intel processors will be replaced with the new Core Ultra branding on Meteor Lake CPUs. Samsung may choose to use the Core Ultra 7 155H chipset for the next Galaxy Book 4, considering that the Galaxy Book 3 was powered by an Intel Core i7 processors.
