Design and dimensions

In terms of design, the Samsung Galaxy F62 and the Samsung Galaxy M53 are very similar. Both cellphones are made completely of plastic and have an iPhone-like square-shaped camera island at the back. Both gadgets feature a modern-looking display design with a centrally placed hole-punch camera cutout.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 has dimensions of 163.9 x 76.3 x 9.5 mm and weighs 218 grammes. The Samsung Galaxy M53, on the other hand, measures 164.7 x 77 x 7.4 mm and weighs 176 grammes. Because of its massive 7000mAh battery, the Galaxy F62 is thicker and heavier in comparison.

Design

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by an Exynos 9825 chipset manufactured on a 7nm technology. The chipset has two Exynos M4 cores that run at 2.73GHz, two Cortex-A75 cores that run at 2.40GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores that run at 1.95GHz. The Mali-G76 MP12 GPU is in charge of graphics.

The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC in the Galaxy M53 is developed on a somewhat more efficient 6nm production technology. The chipset has two Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz. A Mali-G68 MC4 GPU is also included in the chipset.

Cameras

In the camera section, the battle heats up. The Galaxy F62 features a quad camera arrangement at the back, which includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth camera. A 32MP front-facing sensor is also included for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy M53 has a 108MP primary camera but just an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The secondary cameras include a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor, both of which are lower in quality than the Galaxy F62. To summarise, the Galaxy F62 wins this round.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by a 7000mAh battery and has 25W fast charging capabilities. In instance, the Samsung Galaxy M53 has a 5000mAh battery and 25W rapid charging technology.
