The Samsung Galaxy S24 offers real-time phone translation with its Live Translate feature. In the course of a phone conversation, the Galaxy AI can translate and transcribe in 13 languages.
How to use Live Translate for phone calls
Live Translate needs to be enabled in the Settings on your device before you can use it. You can finish the process with the help of the steps that follow.
- Go to Settings >Select “Advanced features.”
- Tap on advanced intelligence.
- Tap the Phone.
- Turn the switch on.
- In the “Me” section, select your language, and in the “Other person” section, select the language of the other person.
It’s time to test out Live Translate on a phone call after you’ve configured it in your device’s settings.
- Use the built-in phone app to make or receive calls > Tap on Call Assist.
- Press the “Live Translate” button.
- To initiate the conversation, the Bixby voice will automatically use the language configuration that you have chosen in the Settings on your device.
